When quiz queen Babs Beaumont is killed by a hit-and-run driver minutes after scooping the £10,000 prize on a new TV quiz show, the police decide it was an accident. Fellow-contestant Molly Massey is not so sure. She knows Babs had uncovered a dark secret about one of the other players. But which? Molly is faced with a line-up of oddball suspects.
