Lampo and Jaa loved Arktika so much that they put protection over it to protect it from the outside world. A fight between them eventually led to them both disappearing, and the land becoming covered in snow and ice. Malika, the current Queen of Arktika, has had to make some tough choices during her time on the throne. One such decision was having her daughter was sent away to protect her and to grow up among humans. Then rebellion broke out trying to overthrow the Queen, even though all she has done is obeyed the prophecies brought forth by the Lake of Prophecy. Now her daughter has returned, and it is time to see if she has grown into the person they need to save their beloved land. Lake of Prophecy is the second book of five in the Aurora Chronicles a coming of age fantasy following a twelve-year-old girl into a journey of self-discovery.
