Taken for Granite

Patrick Johnson never knew when to stop. As a steady helping hand, he knew that his own illustrious job lay ahead, should his course and search end on the other side of a small, sleepy town like Codiere. Being a traveling migrant, he attempts to start again as a hired-on groundskeeper, befriending a well-known family of the community, fitting in for once in his pallid life. But while he tries to plant new roots and brave his horrid past, he finds that being a caretaker of an eerily desolate cemetery has its life-ending drawbacks. Never mind the grim headstones silently marking death. Should the horror in his past be forgotten, all he has to do is clean the owner's basement. He soon becomes painfully aware that not all lost spirits prefer graveyards. The majority of all proceeds are going to assist pre-natal care units that fight day and night for the lives of premature and drug-addicted babies in the great state of New Jersey.
