This action packed suspense novel takes place along the Intracoastal Waterway (ICW) and in the Caribbean. When Paul Ruffin stops to render assistance at a car accident, he finds a lot more than he bargained for: a dead body and millions of dollars in cash and diamonds. He decides to keep the money and flee the scene. Paul and his wife live aboard a 53-foot Hatteras Motor Yacht, and thought they could just disappear with the money. They plan to take their boat down the ICW to Florida, and then to an offshore bank in the Caribbean. But the mob eventually discovers who has their money, and the deadly pursuit begins. Tony Pessi, the leader of the Carman crime family, plans to buy a casino and a bank to launder large sums of money on the international scene. Unfortunately, his investment funds have disappeared, and the Syndicate wants their money back. Tony knows he will be dead if he cannot recover the money and diamonds, and he will spare no effort to catch Paul and his wife. The chase leaves a trail of bodies along the ICW and in the Cayman Islands as the plot twists and turns towards a surprise ending. Paul receives unexpected help from his son-in-law, a navy SEAL. Navy SEALs are no strangers to violence, which the mobsters find out - the hard way. With the FBI and local police trying to figure out what is going on, the story races to a final conclusion in the Shenandoah Valley. If Paul survives, he will be a very rich man.
