Publisher Marketing: I have been a fan of the Beatles for over 50 years! Over the years I has amassed a treasure trove of vinyl records, DVDs, cassettes, 8 track tapes and even VHS tapes of the "Fab Four." Within this plethora of memorabilia, magazines, trading cards and books is housed a tremendous amount of information. My first book (with Don Christian) "The Beatles: Speaking Words of Wisdom" is a comprehensive compilation of transcribed interviews with the Beatles from 1962 to 1970. Don and I spent a lot of time poring through items in the "Swearingen Archives" to produce a completed compendium. As that project progressed and grew to fruition, I started to set certain magazine articles, newspaper clippings and other tidbits of interesting Beatle information aside. Before I knew it, I had a wealth of information. None of it would be considered for a book by itself, however, with all these bits and pieces I thought I could combine all of it and create one book called (uniquely enough) "The Beatles Brits and Pieces." Of the hundreds if not thousands, of books on the market relating to the Beatles, it seemed inconceivable to me to create a book that has this quality of content. So, I did a lot of research, and much to my surprise, there isn't a book out there with this treasury of information. "Brits and Pieces" is unique unto itself. If you are a Beatles fan of ANY age you should find this book an invaluable source of entertainment, unique "Factoids," and interesting stories. There is even a full chapter devoted to the "Paul Is Dead" hoax from the late 60's! Being a collector of any and everything Beatles, I have also enclosed some buyer's guides and guidelines to help evaluate your own items and help to protect you from reproductions and frauds in any future purchases. And as a bonus, there are over 75 "Quality" trivia questions! There is even "A blast from the past section" which features some of the old magazine advertisements from the sixties. Enjoy!
