City of Tortugas - Our New Home

Building a realistic world around the projections of our future is not an easy thing to do. There are so many difficulties to overcome. There are technical challenges that seem to be overpowering. There are environmental issues that are unresolved. There are so many people around the world who insist on a path of destruction rather than one of discovery. That is not the world that Tom lives in. Without great explanation, his world is one of discovery, enjoyment, and accomplishment. Tom is a rather normal young man who just happens to live on a cement island in the Gulf of Mexico in the not too distant future. His adventures include moving from one of these magnificent man-made creations to another. He describes how they are built and placed for use and how it is to live in such a wonderful place.
