Subject C. Burton

Life is about to explode for seventeen-year-old Carson Burton. The Colorado native lives a mostly sheltered life with two siblings and two loving adoptive parents. However, there is something to be said for fate and Carson is about to find out that it's quite a lot in his case. After surviving a horrific car accident, he is forced to take part in human experimentation to create a "super human being". Not to mention the fact that he is taken away from everyone he has ever known and transported to another planet. However horrible the situation is, Carson gets the chance to meet his birth mother for the first time while also falling madly in love with a girl and surprisingly a dog. Both of which save his life in more ways than one. Carson's journey brings him to a reality he never thought possible. A reality where the lines of good and evil become too thin to distinguish, no matter how hard he tries. A reality where, who you can trust is just as blurry.
