The Last Woman
David Matheny
What happens when a hyper, type-A, businesswoman who owns a real estate company, hires and falls for a sensitive, laid-back man who helps the homeless? The first romantic encounter is intertwined with the reading, signing, and notarizing of a sexual harassment waiver. She hires him to work for her real estate company. He tells her she is the last woman he will ever love. She's afraid to let go. He draws her out of her shell and goads her into a midnight swim at the Bellagio water show. He has a secret. She thinks he is in cahoots with her ex-husband who wants to take over her company. She fires him and drives him away. Later, she finds out that his secret was getting decent care for his mother. A developer helps her lure him to his office for a donation for the homeless. She asks him for 5 minutes and convinces him to take her back.
