Tom is a scientist, and a brilliant mind. He has just tested his new Ion Pulse Engine and his world is finally coming together, until an event occurs. Tom's wife comes home shocked, and confused. He quickly learns he vanished five years earlier without a trace. Tom finds himself thrown into a world that is different from the world he remembers, and he is not sure if is this is a cruel joke, a trick, or something else. Tom is questioned by the RCMP to figure out what is happening, and perhaps charge him with a crime. The mystery builds in this novella as Tom unravels a world he does not know, a world stranger than one he could have ever imagined.
