'Casa Nova' is the story of a tempestuous romance between a young British soldier and an Arab girl. set against a background of cultures in conflict. The action moves through Egypt, Jordan, Palestine (mainly Jerusalem), the rest of the 'Muddled' East', England, the USA and The Bahamas. Finally, eighteen years later a tumultuous saga comes to a full resolution in Nassau Bahamas. The epic combines positive 'Romeo and Juliet' plus 'Westside Story' plots with added spice of an original, tropical and unexpected climax minus intrusions of family. personal or social prejudices and hatreds. The main themes concern the nature of 'modern' love; being 'in love' and a consideration that all times are 'interesting times', especially for those who are living through them.
