Erica V. Walton is now a wife, mother, sole proprietor of Evolving Diva Inc, and founder/director of the nonprofit organization The Evolving Diva Inc, Foundation. Her company specializes in wardrobe styling, personal shopping, closet organizing, and event planning. She's also a guest fashion blogger. Her past wasn't an easy one, especially growing up on the south side of Chicago. A former ward of the state, Erica was abandoned by parents, and she was raised by her grandmother. She's overcome abandonment issues, molestation, trauma bond relationships, domestic violence, homelessness, and a shopping addiction. In August 2015, she created an apparel line. The shirts showcase women and children, with their hair in it's natural state just like her daughters. The purpose of the shirts is to show black women and girls as the royalty they are. Shopping for her and her seven daughters clothing she rarely sees shirts with little brown girls. So RoyalTee was her idea of creating the change she wanted to see. Erica's passion for empowering women and girls is strong. She's a believer in the black woman and a crusader for the little black girl. As a mother she never wants her children to be influenced by the outside world. She's a firm believer in everything starts at home. In her household her husband is king and she is queen. They witness positive affection, respect, and self love. Grades, integrity, and health are top priority in the Walton household. In her spare time she loves to read, listen to music, exercise, and redecorate. Taking this new path to her throne one moment at a time and thanking God for it all. She's a diva determined to evolve.
