Uncle Wiggily's Adventures
Howard R. Garis
What ailed dear old Uncle Wiggily, who is suffering all sorts of aches and pains?
"Ha! Hum!" said Dr. Possum, again looking very wise. "You need a change of air! You must travel about. Go on a journey, get out and see strange birds, and pick the pretty flowers. You don't get exercise enough."
"Exercise enough!" cried Uncle Wiggily. "Why, my goodness me sakes alive and a bunch of lilacs! Don't I play checkers almost every night with Grandfather Goosey Gander?"
But the old rabbit gentleman took the doctor's advice -- and what did he do first but leap right into a bear's den of dangers!
