A cockatrice is two unfamiliar traits coming to form a blend of one character. Most people in churches today are cockatrices because they neither carry solely the traits of the devil nor that of God but rather combine them both, which makes them deadlier and more dangerous than the children of the devil. No cockatrice can be used of God. If they are fit to be alive in the wilderness, they are certainly not fit for the Promised Land. They may have survived the Red Sea, but certainly will be consumed in the wilderness of life. It is only those who survive the Red Sea and the wilderness that are deemed inheritors of the Promised Land.
