Dorowski Bridge

The memory of the brutal death of his beloved Aniol consumes CIA agent Michael Brennan. Aniol's death was an act of betrayal by the man Michael once called 'friend.' Michael has sworn to find Butler Hayes and kill him. Dana Westcott, a successful Atlanta magazine publisher, needs $3 million to ransom her brother Timothy. Warned not to involve the police, Dana confides in Kris Barrett, her friend and employee. Kris then faces the dilemma of whether or not to tell Dana she once had a relationship with Timothy in East Berlin; ordered by STASI agent Henrik Thess. The lives of these three people intersect when Michael locates an associate of Hayes in Atlanta, and stumbles into the kidnapping plot. In a showdown, Michael realizes the kidnapper is his enemy, Butler Hayes. In the midst of gunplay, Butler wounds Michael enough to slow him down while he gets away. Butler takes Dana hostage when he discovers she has put the ransom money in an overseas account. Kris convinces a now injured Michael to let her go with him; she knows the name of the European bank. The chase ends in Berlin where Dana, Kris, and Michael must face awful truths and decide if forgiveness is possible.
