Hunter was the kind of person who wore her heart on her sleeve, which could get her into trouble when it came to romance. Having broken up with her fiancé, RJ, being dumped by her current boyfriend, and hating being alone she agreed to go on a date with her friend, Grey Andrews. She and Grey had been friends for a couple years and Hunter knew he was infatuated with her, but she was hurt, and bad. She wasn't interested in anything more than easy dating. Boy, was she in for a surprise! Grey Andrews had barely returned from active duty Army when he met Hunter. He wanted her. He knew that from the first night they played pool together and she called him an asshole, which he found funny coming from her 'little Mormon girl' reputation. Little did he know, all that was, for the most part, was rumor. It didn't matter how or what he'd need to do, he would HAVE her!That first date was great and over the next several dates she got to know the softer side of Grey, but this also led to years of walking on egg shells, never knowing whether loving Grey would show up or the one who called her demeaning names and abusing her in every way possible. Even parenthood didn't change this. Hunter saw potential of being a great man in her husband. He didn't see it, but kept her on a string waiting to see if he would change anything.
