The first stage of failure for we humans was so small. A nothing event. Secretly tested on monkeys and apes, it was still in the experimental stages, when the daemons escaped Hell. It started as a vaccine concocted to battle a disease that was ravaging our culture. It stank of corruption. It screamed danger, aand it was unknown to the public.. Less than a year later, millions were dead worldwide, and they were intent on eating the living..
