The story takes place in the early nineteen hundreds in a mountain wilderness surrounding a small western town. There is a meeting in town of two men that were childhood friends and during their meeting they settled on a trade. The deal they make leads to the discovery of a Mountain man's home in the wilderness when he takes his traded goods home. The reader is taken to a place on the mountains thought only to exist in stories told around campfires when camping out with friends. This story features early life on the mountain and bring laughter and tears with the journey to the mountain paradise in Home On The mountain. A reader will enjoy meeting the people and experiencing the places they will visit.
