Replacement of missing teeth is an important aspect of modern dentistry. Radiographic examination is an essential aspect of diagnosis and treatment planning in dental practice. In recent years, advancements in diagnostic, surgical and restorative techniques have reached new levels. The Prosthodontist has to therefore be up-to-date with advancing diagnostic and treatment procedures and technology for successful treatment and for the benefits of the patient.
