Michael ‘Vegas’ and Jason ‘Maldini’ share the spotlight as one of Drum and Bass’ most exciting production teams and DJ crews to come out of the UK. Known for their genre defining dark & heavy basslines, crisp & chattering snares, and deliciously twisted percussion, Maldini & Vegas have become the standard bearers of cutting-edge Drum and Bass as it exists in 2005. And now the BCUK legacy continues with the release of their 2 CD set ‘Bad Taste.’ For their second North American release the crew has teamed up with System Recordings and Hallucination to present their new compilation album. ‘Bad Taste’ is a feast of many of the latest upcoming artists on Maldini & Vegas’s ‘BC Presents’ label. CD 1 is an unmixed compilation featuring tracks from new blood such as Noisia, Chase & Status and Alliance, alongside veterans Maldini, Vegas and Teebee.
