Night Flight to Gaza: a Sandra Lerner Mystery

Detective Derek Strong escorts Houston heiress and industrialist, Maria Tantalia Galbreaux, to Rome, Sicily, Gaza, and Palestine on a mission of earth shaking religious, economic and political importance. The Vatican grants an annulment of her marriage, stages a special Rosary in her honor in Saint Peter's, and agrees to support her plan to move the Dome of the Rock Mosque to Houston. All does not go well. They are attacked by terrorists in Saint Peter's, and terrorist plot to blow up the Dome of the Rock. Maria flies to Gaza, and meets with King Hussein, Teddy Kolleck, and Saudi Prince Kahli at the Inn of Seven Arches above Gethsemane on Mount Olivet and signs the vital agreements. Meanwhile, back in Houston, Sandra Lerner defends lawyers Barbara Quick and Percy Lovett charged with the horrible murder of lawyer Eugene Cash. Je'sus Posadas disappears from the morgue. Dr. Guadelupe Alvarez is shot execution style in the doctor's parking lot of the Del Arroyo Clinic, and suspected axe murderer Juan Baptista is life-flighted to Matamoros. Ruth, Sandra's sister, gets divorced, returns to nursing, and is raped in the hospital parking garage. Tisha falls in love with Geology professor. There is no profanity, explicit sex or erotica in this book. There is a rape scene and a graphic autopsy. The author considers all his fiction adult humor.
