Dick Hyatt has had many varied experiences in life, some extraordinary, some fascinating and all interesting. His book is mostly short stories of various events beginning when he was young and continuing through old age. He also shows and tells of the passions that have driven him throughout his life.

He tells about how he, a high school drop-out, became a success in various endeavors and businesses.

He shares his realization while writing the stories that they were stories of how God was with him throughout his life and through every experience and how God saved him from catastrophe and death from his poor decisions.

He also tells of his latest passion for giving glasses to people free of charge and sharing the Christian faith in foreign countries.
