TODAY I Met
William Thomas Cain
HARDCOVER - As a photojournalist, I meet many different people. With this in mind, I started documenting those people photographically with my iPhone. At the same time, I wanted to be able to tell a bit about those folks. So, I also would do short interviews and record those interviews on my iPhone as well. Later in the day, I'd choose the best image and edit those interviews into a short paragraph explaining where I met the person and what they were currently doing with their lives. The project actually started as an Instagram experiment. The rules were simple. Each subject had to be photographed with my iPhone and each person had to agree to allow me to interview them as well as tag them on Instagram with their story.
