Nearly 250 years later, the Commonwealth of Virginia announces plans for an airport in New Kent County. Much of the proposed site is on land that is claimed by the Commonwealth, but the claim resulted from the apparent loss of the original records during the Civil War. Now, an amateur historian undertakes a search for evidence that will disprove the Commonwealth's claim of ownership. But there are those who stand to lose millions if he is successful...
