Aubrey McCarthy was born in Canada and has resided in California since 1957. He writes a human interest column for a local newspaper.
His humorous talent can be seen in most of his fiction and non fiction.
Over the years he has developed his people reading skills by listening to and by observing others wherever he goes. Most of his associates call him Mac. His love of dogs, especially retrievers has given him endless ideas for his work. He has owned dogs with the following names: Minnie, Smoky, Nugget, Angel and plans on naming his next dog, Spirit, Shadow or Misty. Or perhaps the next three dogs will each have one of those names
The author, his wife Mary, daughter Clarissa and husband Deepak reside in southern California.
