Mr. McClure includes many historical facts along with his walk; including folklore that has been around Athens for a very long time, Koon Kreek Klub, a 1920 bank robbery at Athens National Bank, a story about the 1929 and 1930 Athens Hornet National Championship Basketball Team, the making of the first dirt roads and the first railroads and more recent events.
