He'd seen every trick and encountered every danger, from clever con-men to brutal pirates, which he handled with ease. But one day when he and his family accidentally stumbled upon a remote dwelling of an unusual woman he realized that life had not prepared him for an encounter with what may quite possibly be a genuine witch. But was she a witch... or something else?
