Loosely based on known facts, hearsay and family tradition, The Lost Man delves into the realms of imagination, of what might possibly have been, and then moves on into a total flight of fancy covering the period from the start of the First World War to the middle of the Second. Using imaginary characters it endeavours to contrast the never-ending struggle between good and evil individuals, set against a backdrop of the fight first against the Kaiser?s forces and later against the ultimate evil of Adolf Hitler?s ambitions.
