Everyone has dreams. Ask any eight year old what they want to be in the future, and you'll get lots of different answers; astronaut, doctor, scientist, and pilot are just a few examples of what they will tell you. However, Edward Walker is neither an eight-year old nor does he have such 'foolish dreams'. Instead, he simply wishes to live a normal life. Then one day, he meets a little girl named Eve in front of a convenience store. She was a little quiet, so Edward had assumed that she was just another shy little girl who had gotten lost and ended up there. But she wasn't. Needless to say, everything promptly goes to hell. As it turns out, they had been living in a world that is coexisting with another; a little place that you'd probably know as, well, Hell. But don't call it that in front of its psychotic residents, or it might really turn out to be quite the 'hell' for you. But that just wasn't 'abnormal' enough for the cruel writers of Edward's fate. Eve is a necromancer; the only one of its kind. As one of the most powerful beings in the entirety of the universe, Eve naturally has many enemies. Most of them are weak and unimportant, but some of them are strong enough to level whole cities. So when Edward becomes indebted to the all-powerful Necromancer, he is forced to become her servant; and being a servant means that he has to do whatever his master couldn't bother with. Like defeating crazily overpowered monsters, for example. So yeah, Edward, what were you saying about wanting a normal life?
