Bessie is a PK (preacher's kid) and loves the Lord. She enjoys singing and writing children's books. Bessie resides in Massachusetts, with two of her three grown children. About the Illustrator Jennifer Cheng DesAutels loves sketching outdoors, rain or shine. Her work is inspired by nature and the youth in her community. An artist since childhood, Jennifer studied illustration in Boston. Her previous illustration credits include a primary reader for an Australian publisher.
