The Animals in Aunt Telma's Backyard
Sandra Nedopetalski
All stories are real events that took place at Aunt Telma's backyard in Cooper City, Florida. The backyard ends into a large canal and always receives visitors from the local wildlife - owls, squirrels, iguanas, bats, Egyptian geese, that inevitably meet with Aunt Telma's dogs, especially Frederika, a mischievous, curious, and funny dachshund. During the 2020 pandemic, Telma joined efforts with her cousin Sandra, a journalist, and sister Tania, a nutritionist, to write this book. All of the authors live in a different part of the planet, so they met virtually to co-author this book to show children that the best adventures happen in the backyard. All that it takes is love and respect for nature.
Join in Frederika's adventures, and meet the animals in her backyard!
