The second installment of the Tough series continues on where the first one left off. Stan continues to fight to let the rest of the group get away. He begins to struggle with the man he has become, so he decides to wander the wasteland for a while to find himself. The others begin to fight with each other almost immediately. They start to break apart and go looking for where they belong in the post-apocalyptic world. Separated, everyone must salvage for themselves in the harsh new world. They encounter many obstacles that continue to tear apart their characters. They must try to keep their humanity as they struggle to stay alive in the bleak world before them. In the end, they must prove what they have always suspected. That they are Tough.
