Walking dogs for wealthy clients is the perfect job for animal lover April Gladdis. She lives a quiet life in Chicago walking dogs by day and watching her favorite web series with her best friend/next door neighbor by night. One day, she returns from a walk to find that the dog's elderly owner has been murdered. Before she knows it, April has become a dog owner, a reluctant investigator, and is meeting the handsome stars of her favorite show. Life has become a lot more exciting as April and the dead man's dog find themselves on a roller coaster ride through a case involving money, drugs, and family feuds.
