The sixth in this series about a vampire vigilante and is also an origin tale about the man who changed Falco's life. From his lair in Detroit, Falco continues to ply his trade, rescuing kidnapped women, meting out justice on their kidnappers, assisting the Detroit Police Department by solving unsolvable crimes. Two women from the Republic of Georgia are joined by refugees from Islamic State seeking a new life in the west while less savory men take refuge in their refugee status, hiding their Jihadi credentials. Meanwhile students from the University of Michigan are on the trip of their lives to Europe to study pre-Christian religions. All paths will converge at the Gathering in a cavern high in the Carpathian Mountains. It's a tale of adventure, romance, horror and love.
