Finding My Intention details the journey of a young mother coping with the caregiving duties for her dying mother and young children at the same time her marriage comes to an end. Led by one particular question, "What is your intention?" a journey unfolds. Ultimately, helping the author find an identity outside the role of full-time mother, wife, and daughter. Through yoga and dancing, new revelations are discovered that shift the perspective of how we define ourselves and our roles. Poetry and reflections teach readers about moving through the grief process of death and divorce. Readers are also invited to reflect on their own journeys using writing and reflections exercises at the end of each book section.
