When someone says they go to church, you almost have to follow up with the question, "Which one?" Some might say Christian and others might say Catholic. But wait? Aren't they the same? Now of course when someone says "Christian" and not Catholic, what they really mean is Protestant. And yes, though the two have similarities, you might be surprised to hear there are stark Biblical differences between the two. The Catholic Connection is a work that came out of a friendly dialogue between two friends investigating their faith; one a Catholic and the other a Protestant. Though the conversation was friendly, the topic is very serious. For with such vast differences between the two, in the end, only one can be right. Differences such as where does scriptural authority come from? Is praying to the saints Biblical? What about the Pope and his status on this earth?
