Sonoma County Sheriff?s Deputy Nick Ryan answers a call from his estranged wife in Mexico to help find her kidnapped brother. This was an amazing novel. The story line is so believable it's easy to feel as if you're actually living in the novel?.the action never stops. You are almost breathless and your pulse quickens as the characters struggle with the heat, exhaustion, rain, floods and extremely evil people.
