This endless Journey to the soul captures both the innocence and the edginess of a black girl lost. Journey experiences pleasure from countless men and pain from constantly making the wrong decisions in life, until one day she finds herself in jail for a murder she denies committing. As the drama unfolds, Journey (who was used to talking and manipulating her way out of any situation) has to tap into her childhood to find out how she ended up in jail. Making wrong decisions, Journey takes us on an exhilarating fast paced adventure in her life thru her eyes. While Al (her long time boyfriend) appears unfazed by Journey's unacceptable behavior, he tries his best to keep his family together as Journey becomes her own worst enemy.
