The tale of a warrior seeking inner peace after fighting a war. A war in society and a war within. Curt Bean served as a Sniper and scout in the U. S. Army in early days of the Iraq war. After he made it home from war, he fought for years to find resources to deal with the reality and moral wounds from that experience. Curt initially fought his inner battles through traditional practices. Traditional prescription medication, traditional psychological therapies, ending in a intensive inpatient PTSD 7 week program. After exploring traditional therapies and practices, and not receiving any relief. Curt began to explore not traditional therapies. First he discovered art, yoga, and meditation. After finding success in those non traditional practices. Curt went even further to explore even more non traditional therapies. Cannabis, MDMA, Psilocybin, LSD, Mescaline, DMT, and finally Toad 5MeO DMT. This writing is meant to explore the human experience. What this human has experienced. How those experiences affected this human. And how this human used non traditional methods to enhance his human experience. The book is filled with photos, graphic art, poems, and random works of art, all that supplements the writing. It is a graphic work of creative writing. It is harsh, raw and free.
