Freshly retired Detective Jack Dunne has moved to Lunenburg, Nova Scotia and set up his own private detective agency. He was looking forward to a quiet, peaceful life when his old partner, who is now the chief of police, called and asked for his help. A woman has been found sealed in a stone cellar, near death, covered in odd tattoos and wearing 18th century clothing. Jack soon realizes that she is like no one he has ever met and that she is being stalked by a killer who will stop at nothing to destroy her, and him. Jack must decide if he wants to risk his life and those he cares about to help her stop a killer.
