Dorp The Scottish Dragon and his family have adventures all over the world and throughout time itself. Join them in Texas as they learn all about the Lone Star State! Dorp, the Scottish Dragon was born in Loch Lomond, Scotland in the early 1800's. While there, he battled Scarface McGuire and saved the day for all of his friends. Dorp left Scotland for Hollywood to become a 1920's movie star. Dorp and Yonga were married and soon Tarken, the first American Dragon was hatched. Starrla, the first daughter of Dorp and Yonga, was hatched in 1950's New York at Christmas time. In the 70's, the family took a nice vacation in Florida for some Fun 'n Sun in the Bermuda Triangle. Book 6, The Lone Star Story takes place in Texas in the year 2000. It is where you'll first meet the family and celebrate with them as the twins, Haley and Alley are hatched. But their stories won't end in Texas. Later, they'll meet aliens in the future year 2021 at Conquest City and then they'll go back to the Dinosaur days before the big freeze. Watch out for those McGuires! They do not like dragons and have been Dorp's sworn enemies for generations. They are up to mischief in every Dorp adventure book. In this book, "Dorp The Scottish Dragon In A Lone Star Story," the enemy is a pretty little rich girl named Britt McGuire. She is determined to steal Dorp's prized bull, Long Horn Hank. Cringe and laugh along at all her attempts to do so. Dorp will use his infra-purple rays to save the day over and over again. He turns away tornados. He stops a speeding truck in it's tracks. And with the help of his family, he lights up the sky in a delightful multi-colored display for all to enjoy.
