Four college friends meet for a dinner date. Kurt has been looking forward to this since he first laid eyes on Frida, the raven-haired girl of his dreams. But after a car crash, the city is thrown into a blackout and their evening out takes an unexpected turn. The night becomes even darker - and deadlier - when the investigators are attacked by creatures that aren't supposed to exist.




Frida urges her friends to flee, but the beasts seem drawn to them. Soon, they will learn that the object of Kurt's affection has a secret, one that puts her and her friends in mortal danger. She will need help if she hopes to fulfill her purpose, a destiny thousands of years in the making. Before the night is over, they will all learn the answer to the question they never asked.
