You have Lupus Now what
Patti Chiappa
My name is Patricia Ann Chiappa. But you can call me Patti for short. In Oct of 2000, I started to become ill. My symptoms ranged from me passing out to getting a painful rash all over my body, that doctors diagnosed as hives to Feeling very tired. I went to many doctors, who ran many tests from Ekgs to blood tests. They couldn't come with a cause. So, they said it was all in my mind. They sent me to a shrink. They said I was under stress and having a mental breakdown. But I wasn't! I just had lupus. Lupus that cause me to have two major strokes, four miscarriages, a host of other illnesses including a brain injury, blood clots and fibromyalgia. I was finally diagnosed with lupus, after my medical doctor gave me a simple blood test called an antinuclear antibody (ANA) test. That turned out to be positive. That along with all my Symptoms confirmed I was not mentally ill, but had a misunderstood illness. It took my doctors a long 17 years to find out I had Lupus. In this book you will find treatments for lupus, lupus diet, symptoms, what blood tests you need to take to find out you have lupus, and much more.
