Constantly on the move a middle class millennial must overcome internal and external demons such as depression, loneliness, and drug use or risk losing his way. While convinced that his happiness and value are tied to the acceptance of the people around him and what he can accomplish Michael finds himself on a dangerous and tiresome journey. After being let down by his broken dreams and the people he trusted most he is tormented by the choices he could have made and a desire to avoid the emotional and physical pain he feels. In the midst of his lowest point he reflects on the events that led him to this life changing decision and how they molded him into the person he never thought he would be. In search of meaning, love, and hope, have these events led him to a greater purpose or will they leave him in ruin?This first person narrative documents life growing up as a millennial in America and addresses many of the taboo issues that permeate it. Such issues include finding acceptance, looking for love, dealing with grief, drug use, suicidal thoughts, and questions of faith. At a time of increasing drug use and violence among young adults, this book encourages those in their struggles and even provides insight to those who don't understand the problems these individuals face.
