English summary: At the beginning of the 20th century, Emile Chassinat published the inscriptions and decorations of the Ptolemaic temple at Edfu in Upper Egypt, one of the few Egyptian sanctuaries to have survived the millennia nearly unscathed. Missing from the original publication were drawings of the reliefs on the pylon and the outer precinct walls. This volume addresses that lack and publishes drawings of these reliefs on 58 plates, accompanied by a short text highlighting their characteristics and a DVD containing selected photographs of the precinct walls, the pylon, and the southern gate.
