Corinthians Issues Perry Starbird

The First Letter of Paul to the Corinthians, probably written about 53-54 ce at Ephesus, Asia Minor, deals with problems that arose in the early years after Paul's initial missionary visit (c. 50-51) to Corinth and his establishment there of a Christian community.

Paul wrote this letter to challenge the Corinthians to deal with several issues that had arisen in the church because of their immaturity in Christ. Here in this letter, he challenges them to order, love and humility. The book is a challenge to the culture of our day as well as we too deal with many of the same issues.
