The reclusive life of Hans Keller, a Zurich-based art historian, expert and collector of African art, is sensitively disturbed by occasional awareness gaps. He tries to repress these dropouts, but when Jack, another expert of primitive art, playboy and martial artist, contacts him for an expertise, events begin to precipitate. Soon it turns out that the two have more in common than they would like -- including three dubious deaths. A psychological thriller in the context of African art and with some personal anecdotes from Africa.
