"Sometimes" was originally created to share with my son when he was a child. The book itself is twofold, almost like two books in one. On the one hand, there is the story of how sometimes the people that my son wanted to spend time with were a bit too busy to do so, but sometimes they were able to stop what they're doing and have wonderful experiences with him. The black and white drawings that correspond with the story demonstrate those fun times that were had together. But the book also has another purpose. When one does not have the opportunity to spend time with others, this book can be used as a way to while away the hours, looking at all of the detailed imagery on the coloured pages. They are full of interest and pique curiosity. Those art pieces in themselves are a story; one that can be made on one's own. I hope that you enjoy this book as much as I have enjoyed making it, first for my son, and then for you to explore.
