The Coat Virus

Worn down from dealing with Zamilda Grench, the landlady from "you would never believe it", biological researcher Bob Broglin and his assistant Jane Kriebel are desperate to move his small lab out of the Darsenfarsen building to almost anywhere else. Her latest imposition on Broglin is her own son, Zimon Grench, an airheaded walking disaster area. At the same time Zamilda fixates on having a fling with hunky Rocco Rivaldi who stops by the lab to shyly woo Kriebel. Based on claims Zamilda has spread around about Broglin having created a superbug with huge financial potential, Dipstritch Dingle and Skervie Skrewup get separate after hours tours of the lab with assurances from Zamilda that they can take anything they want, no other permissions from the actual owners needed, as long as they pay her well. When Broglin suddenly has trouble putting on any coat because it seems to actively fight to stay off him, questions arise about contamination by viruses that cause predictable behaviors, Briglin's research focus. After many hassles, Zamilda raids the lab in the middle of the night and steals the entire small supply of that virus - only to have Broglin and Kriebel feed her disinformation and try to recover the culture. When Broglin is "cured" but Zamilda and Zimon end up having trouble putting on any coat, Zamilda has an unexpected but characteristic new scheme.
