Bactum

Zaik was alone, as he often was in the Southern Planes, fighting against the Bactum that had subsumed his life. He couldn't recall the exact date it had all begun, only a child lost in the lands of Angarth. We join him now on a detour, a trip further North towards the cities he so often avoided... he'd find the Staff, a chance meeting along the way. At times, Zaik would wish he'd never set foot in Dalax, even as Lina found a way into his plans. His life as a Sagen... he'd wonder if the world really knew what it meant, if his apparent peers saw the truth as he did. Would they understand his purpose? Perhaps.
