Kailani is given three rules, the first is the most important, do not kill anyone. She is a trained lawyer specializing in victim's rights. She lost her best friend to a rapist/murderer. She is self-centered, lacks empathy, thinks she knows better than anyone what to do to fix a situation until she meets Kawika. Kawika is an MIT trained EE who is carefree, keeps things simple, and does not let anything bother him. And it all starts with a cup of coffee.
